The Leadville Planning & Zoning Commission is made up seven members which include the mayor, one city councilmember, and five appointed Leadville residents. The appointed members serve two and one-half year terms, staggered so that one new member is appointed each six months. All members of the commission shall be bona fide residents of the city and, if any member ceases to reside within the city, his or her membership shall automatically terminate.
